FREE Medi-Rent Webinar: Compression pump use for lipoedema

Compression pumps are becoming more popular for the management of lipoedema. This session will guide participants through the application of compression pumps for lipoedema. You will learn about considerations for use and successful lipoedema treatment protocols.

This education session is suitable for health professionals.

FREE Medi-Rent Webinar: Clinical application for compression pumps: Lower quadrant

This session will guide participants through the clinical reasoning for effective compression pump treatment of lower quadrant applications including lymphoedema, venous insufficiency, and arterial insufficiency conditions. The content will discuss safe prescription of Sequential Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (SIPC) and assessment of clinical effect to guide progression of settings.

This education session is suitable for health professionals.

Key learning objectives:

  • Learn about strategies using SIPC to treat and manage swelling affecting the lower quadrants- legs, abdomen, and genital regions.
  • Understand the clinical rationale of SIPC in the treatment of a range of presentations at various stages of disease that affect the lower quadrant including lymphoedema, venous insufficiency, and arterial insufficiency conditions.
  • Learn about assessment for determining clinical effect of SIPC and clinical reasoning for setting and progression of treatment parameters for these lower quadrant applications.
