NZ Lymphoedema Hui

Medi-Rent is a gold sponsor at the 2019 NZ Lymphoedema Hui. This is Medi-Rent’s first time attending the Hui and we are looking forward to it with great enthusiasm as we begin supplying compression pumps to NZ from 2019. Hawke’s Bay Lymphoedema Information Day

Level 1 Chronic Oedema Lower Limb – Lymphoedema Education

Medi-Rent is supporting this Level 1 Chronic Oedema Course by offering a workshop session to participants on the use of compression pumps and specifically how programming can affect the clinical effect. The COLL course provides the practitioner with the opportunity to develop their knowledge, skills and clinical reasoning in the management of chronic oedema in the lower limb.

Level 1 Lymphoedema Training – Macquarie University

Each year Medi-Rent takes part in a number of ALERT Courses run by Macquarie University. We offer a 1.5 hour workshop covering the fundamentals of using compression pumps for lymphoedema including latest research, case studies and the ability for hands-on familiarisation with the product. The ALERT Education program at Macquarie University aims to develop and maintain excellence in lymphoedema science, diagnosis, assessment and management.

Level 2 Advanced Lymphoedema Training – Lymphoedema Education

Medi-Rent is supporting this Level 2 Course by offering a workshop session to participants on the use of compression pumps and specifically how programming can affect the clinical effect. This course is open to registered health professionals only and participants must have successfully completed an ALA accredited Level 1 (Basic) lymphoedema course and had a minimum of 1-year experience.

Wounds Australia Conference

Be sure to attend the biannual national conference in wound care. This year, Nurse Practitioner Margo Asimus is presenting a case study series on wound care using compression pumps. This breakfast workshop still has vacancies but you need to reserve your place. Margo is also speaking on behalf of Medi-Rent in the Innovations section of the program on variable pressure settings for NPWT.
